Bedroom 1
Bedrooms 1 & 2 are cozy and charming!
This ground floor bedroom has a full size bed, a dresser, nightstands, lamps and a full size closet. The windows give plenty of light, and the louvered blinds afford privacy. This room is carpeted. Both summer and winter linens are included. In the summer months, cooling is provided via swamp cooler.
This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 2 -The Brick Room.
Bedroom 2 -"The Brick Room"
This ground floor bedroom has a regular twin size bed in a wrought iron daybed frame. There is a dresser, bookshelves for storage, lamps and a full size closet. This bedroom has its own entrance and is also the second exit for the house. Both summer and winter linens are provided. Heating is provided via radiant heating through the brick floors. In the summer months, cooling is provided via swamp cooler.
This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 1.
Downstairs Bathroom (Shared)
Nicely decorated with Talavera tile. This downstairs bathroom is shared with Bedrooms 1 & 2. It has a new toilet, tub & shower combination, along with a separate sink and ample storage for personal items. Towels are included, as well as bath mats. Large sized hair and body products are provided in order to reduce plastic waste. A hair dryer is provided.

The Master Suite
The Stairs & The Landing
The master bedroom is upstairs and has an ensuite bath. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, dresser, nightstands, lamps and a small TV with ROKU. There is also a separate sink and mirror with a hair dryer in the cabinet, as well as a large walk in closet with a hamper, hangers & luggage stand. Summer & winter linens and towels are provided. There are black-out curtains closable using a draw cord. Heat is via baseboard heaters, and cooling is by swamp cooler, upduct drafting, and an overhead fan.
The bathroom is a light and airy room with a walk-in shower and built-in tile bench, sink, & toilet.
There are 18 steps between the first and second floors.
The landing at the top of the stairs is furnished with a desk, lamp, and a black and white laserjet printer. The Master suite is just beyond the doors. This house might be difficult for those who cannot climb stairs.​
Living Room & Kitchen Areas
The living room is generously appointed with comfortable seating, a television with WiFi and streaming through ROKU. Just bring your logins for Hulu, PBS, Netflix, Amazon and more. We do not have cable.

A traditional New Mexico Kiva provides a cozy atmosphere, and we ask that only Duraflame logs be used. Bes sure to double check that the damper is open, and that fires ONLY be burned on "BURN" days as designated by the city. Burn/NoBurn days may be found on the city website or by calling 505-768-BURN.

Radiant heat through the tile floors provides warmth, and a MasterCool evaporative swamp cooler, ceiling up-ducts plus the overhead fans cool the house in the summer. Lined curtains provide darkness in the day, coolness in the summer, and extra warmth in the winter. All windows are double glazed and energy efficient.

The kitchen has a table that can seat four, plus two at the butcher block island. The kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, gas range, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, Crockpot, and refrigerator. A washer and dryer is just off to the left of the photo. The owner has seen to it that there is a full range of kitchen implements.
Please bring a way to make protein shakes and an instant pot if you need one.

The Courtyard, Backyard, and Garage
Casa Otra Vez provides secure parking for two mid-size cars in the garage. If you have a huge truck, van or SUV, please park it in the driveway, so as not to damage the adobe wall. Your car will be safe for the evening. There is a key and remote deposit,which is refundable as long as you leave them on the butcher block island upon check out! The gated courtyard should be locked 24/7. The backyard has a small table with 4 chairs and an umbrella for the Summer and Fall. There is a charcoal barbecue in the front yard, for guests to use, alongside a bucket for ashes. (Please keep the barbecue up front, as the swamp cooler will draw the smoke into the house in the summer).
